About Inverurie:

A short distance from the city of Aberdeen, you will find the attractive market town of Inverurie. It’s a firm favourite for those looking for a base to explore Aberdeenshire whilst remaining close to the vibrancy of city life.

Close to many majestic castles, Inverurie is lovingly known as the ‘Heart of the Garioch’ and the town itself is swamped in history.

Inverurie is similarly only a short distance from popular range of hills, Bennachie. The hills, especially the Mither Tap, are not only treasured by local hillwalkers but by visitors wishing to take in the panorama of Aberdeenshire’s vast countryside.

The town is also well-known for hosting an event with a difference. The Thainstone Mart takes place here and remains one of Europe's largest livestock sales.

The store:

Established in 2003, Specsavers Inverurie has been providing a service to the people of Inverurie for 16 years and now employs 28 staff. 8 of which are optometrists. The store has a warm and friendly feel and following a refurbishment in 2017, the store has seen regular investment which has allowed it to not only look incredible but to also have the very best in eye health technology. The store directors firmly believe that to deliver the best eye examinations and service levels, the latest in technology is key. The store has also been recently given the accolade of a ‘centre of excellence’ store for the region, which is a huge compliment to the Directors.
