Optical Assistant

This high end, clinical, independent are currently looking for a Optical Assistant to join their practices, this will be split between 2 practices within roughly a 5 mile distance from each other.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY – 09:00 TO 17:30

My client is ideally looking for a friendly, enthusiastic individual that is looking for a new role in a high end and clinical environment. You will be looking to deliver second to none customer service with a practice which has a loyal varied patient base.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options.
Ideally a good varied lens knowledge, as this opticians has a large lens catalogue

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

At least 1 year of experience as an Optical Assistant ideally within a busy practice.
The ability to dispense to all levels, with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Looking for committed individuals who are flexible and able to cover holiday and sickness and are a good team worker

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £17,000 is on offer as well as fees paid and no weekends or lates creating an excellent work/life balance
