We are keen to recruit a qualified optometrist for our Specsavers store in the beautiful seaside town of Worthing. The position is open to Optometrists of varying levels from newly qualified to those looking for a lead role with supervising duties. This is a large practice employing over 50 staff including 9 optoms and a large clinical team. The benefit of being part of such a large team is you will always have the opportunity to discuss case records. The large optom team also allows the store to run its own CET events in house. As an Optometrist at Specsavers Worthing, there is always the opportunity for development, both clinically and professionally, no matter how experienced you are!

The Specsavers Worthing practice has been around for almost two decades but has recently benefitted from a full refurbishment and looks as good as new! Operational wise, there are 9 sight test consulting rooms, both short and long form and 3 hearcare rooms. All of which are fitted with the state-of-the-art equipment to include OCT and Auto Phoropters.

For those of you who have gained over 3 years’ experience and have passion to provide a first-class service to the practice’s loyal customer base, you will be remunerated with a salary of upto £70,000 per annum plus flexible working and a generous benefits package.

As a newly qualified, you could see yourself earning as much as £50,000 in your first year, plus the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and capabilities. This includes development, training and qualifications that are of interest to you as an individual.
