The practice has is running 3 or 4 clinics a day so you will always have the support of another Optometrist around you. It also provides the ideal environment in which the people at the heart of the business can continually learn and develop their skills to reach their full potential.
The Directors have ambitious plans to continuously grow the business and is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Optometrist, with a long-term outlook, to help shape the business and join a purpose-led team that puts its patients at the heart of everything they do.Responsibilities of the Optometrist.
You will be responsible for delivering the best possible care to all their patients and work closely as part of a small team. The company’s goal is to deliver outstanding patient care, combined with sound dispensing advice and product recommendations that best suit individual customer needs. In addition, they aim to provide both their colleagues and customers with an overall excellent environment.
You will be responsible for contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge.to conduct a thorough sight tests offering your expert opinion and making recommendations. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team.Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position, you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will have a patient-centred approach along with the ability to work well in a team. Additionally, you will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, commercial awareness and clinical expertise.
An experienced Optometrist you can expect a fantastic package and working environment with a generous salary up to £50,000 + bonus with 20 min testing times. If you are newly qualified, they will consider you at a 25min testing time. Your salary will reflect your experience but this is a great opportunity to join an experienced Optometrist team.
Working hours are 09:00am – 17:30pm Monday – Saturday with one late shift (until 7pm on a Thursday) every 3rd or 4th week.
