Our client are looking for an Optical Assistant who can interact face-to-face with customers - making a direct impact on how they look, feel and see. They're looking for a friendly, team-focused candidate who is outgoing and personable. The ability to be able to work under pressure is vital as you will be working in a fast-paced, busy environment. Experience within the optical industry is required. You’ll be helping the customers select the products that are right for them, whilst constantly learning yourself and giving the best customer service to all customers that walk into the store.

The vacancy available is for an Optical Assistant. The duties included in this role are;

• Meeting and greeting customers
• Front of house duties
• Registering patients
• Performing Pre-screening eye health checks
• Ensuring a smooth and friendly handover to the optician
• Using optical knowledge to dispense to all levels
• Fitting and repairing spectacles

They're offering a salary around £15,000 - £20,000 (depending on experience).
