A very exciting opportunity has become available for an Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time, permanent basis with a high end, family run independent based in the Bishop Stortford area.
You will be working full time including Saturdays 9:00-5:30 – no late nights or Sundays

Qualified Dispensing Optician Position

This independent high street opticians, who have a fantastic reputation for their high quality service, are looking to add to their team by recruiting an Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their practice in the Bishop Stortford area.

An enthusiastic and committed individual is required join their practice. Located in an excellent location, my clients attractive practice is equipped to the highest standard and boasts a good support team.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

The ideal candidate will have 1 or 2 years experience post graduation as an Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a high end environment. What is essential, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store whether that be dispensing, stock taking, answering calls or dealing with problems.
You will be working in a small close knit team where you will be a confident and an experienced dispenser as the average order value is around £300/400 and will be working with designer branded frames.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

At least 1 year of experience as an Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy high end practice.
The ability to dispense to all levels as well as pre-screen, contact lens teaches as well as admin responsibilities.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your efforts a competitive salary of up to 32,000 is on offer. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.

Working 09:00-17:30 Monday to Saturday – 37.5 hours to include Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank holidays
