Optometrist – Hove

A great opportunity has arisen at the Specsavers Hove store for a qualified Optometrist.

 

Hove is a seaside town in East Sussex, which started out as a small fishing village and rapidly grew due to the development of nearby Brighton.

It is easily accessible via public transport, with bus routes throughout and 3 train stations offering direct trains to lots of surrounding areas. Public transport or walking is the preferred option of travel for many of the locals due to the busy city streets and close proximity throughout that comes with it, but roadside parking and multi-story car parks are both within a short walk from the store

The store itself has been serving the community for over 20 years and as of September, has undergone a store refit. The store has 6 test rooms, 5 for optics and 1 for hear care and is now fitted with all the up to date equipment including an OCT machine.

The directors are always present in the store and drive the business and development of both the store and the staff. Progression is always supported, with one of the store directors having gone through Pathway to move from a store manager to a director. They will support you to where you want to be in your career, whether you are just starting out; leading the next generation as a Pre-Registration Primary Supervisor; through to being supported through our structured pathway so you can own your own practice.

The team in Hove are a supportive and hard-working team, who are see each other as one team. With shared knowledge and strong working relationships between departments, this is a perfect opportunity to be part of a professional, close knit team.

The team are looking for someone who is wanting to give the best customer service, deliver clinical and retail excellence and help the store with their consistent aspire to be the best opticians in the area.
