Optical Assistant Position

An experienced optical assistant required to join a strong and professional team in a well appointed independent practice based in Romford.
This company is very well established and has enjoyed a number of years of success and they are the choice opticians for many in the area. They have a strong and loyal customer base and have built up a very good local reputation.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You role will be to work on the shop floor of a busy independent practice. You will be approaching and helping customers in a friendly and courteous manner. You will be on hand to offer expert advice and help with frame styling. You will then dispense spectacles as well as offering assistance to the clinical team by conducting pre-screens and CL teaches. In addition to this you will help when required with reception and admin duties.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant.

You must have at least 1 year of Optical experience. You will ideally be able to dispense to all levels, pre-screen and contact lens teach. On top of this you will be a friendly and hard working person who is willing to go the extra mile for your customers.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant
