Optometrist - Stafford, Staffordshire Role summary

We are looking for a newly qualified or experienced Optometrist to help drive our business forward at Specsavers in Stafford, Staffordshire. You will be joining an established team in a friendly store that continues to grow, year on year.

The Area
Stafford, the county town of Staffordshire, at the heart of the West Midlands in England. Despite the similarities found in many towns, Stafford does retain a unique identity. The mixture of modern and old architecture throughout the town is something that should be valued.

The Practice
This is an established practice with a diverse, experienced team in place that work alongside our Optometrists to offer a first-class experience to our loyal customer base. The store currently features 4 test rooms and offers state of the art equipment for you to be able to do what you do best. What’s more, this forward thinking business has an upcoming refit and plans to add an OCT machine. Currently we have a team of 24 members of staff which is set to grow with our business so we can continue to develop our practice and the services we offer; this really is an exciting time to join the team!

Progression

Our Stafford store is one of our leading stores for clinical development, having been one of our first stores involved with referrals. They continue to give very strong support for clinical development and the directors will help you to grow and succeed. The store are also able to offer professional development via ILM management courses and our JVP pathway to help you become the director of your own store! If that’s not enough, the directors are also keen to support your development through the independent prescribing course. Let us know how you want to progress and we’ll help you achieve it.
