The Location

Armthorpe is a village and civil parish which forms the eastern edge of the Doncaster urban sprawl within the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster, South Yorkshire. It is one of the most affluent areas in Doncaster and Armthorpe has a thriving local community with an abundance of shops and amenities. Our store is going to be located in the centre of Armthorpe on Mill Street. Easily accessible by public transport, and just a stones throw away from the larger town of Doncaster, you’ll be based in an ideal location.

The Opportunity

Specsavers Armthorpe are looking for a highly talented Optometrist to join us on a part time basis. You’ll be supported by our new team of staff who are raring to go as soon as the store opens. You will work closely together to ensure the highest optical standards are met, along with taking each customer through their own personalised customer journey. This community focused store requires someone ready to use their passion, skills and experience to help build our customer base. Our small store will feature 2 test rooms and have new state of the art equipment.

You will be someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and community, where building your own customer base will be essential. Repeat business will be pivotal for you to succeed in this location, so we’ve ensured you have all the tools required to assist the customer in every step of their journey.
