Optometrist Position

Full time Optometrist required for leading company domiciliary company to cover the South Yorkshire area. Working hours 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (which in optics is a very rare thing)

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You will be required to visit patients in their homes and Nursing/Care Homes to carry out a full clinical eye test , each day is a new challenge and you must be must be flexible and have a sympathetic and caring approach to each aspect of the role, you will be assisted at all times by an experienced Optical Dispenser and transport to and from appointments is provided in the way of a company car.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will be a fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist. You will be willing to help in other areas of the practice as required and will be very much a team player. Strong communication and time management skills are essential for this position.

Compensation for the Optometrist

On offer is a very competitive salary of £50,000 – £65,000 + a very generous and achievable bonus.
