A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Optical Assistant on a full time, permanent basis in a very busy practice. I am recruiting currently for a franchise of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands.
You will be working in a friendly community within a sociable team where you can expect a variety of patients from all ages and backgrounds.
This practice is situated on a busy high street and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
As an Optical Assistant within this practice you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team.
Experience within an opticians and dispensing is required for this role
As a member of the stores team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant
For your efforts a competitive salary package is on offer dependent on your experience, along with a team bonus scheme and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
Hours are 9-5:30 5 days per week and must work either Saturday or Sunday (10am-3pm)
