YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.

My client is looking for a part time 3 day, 27 hours per week optometrist to join their already established team of 8. This is an opportunity with a fast growing optical group situated in a busy location in the Peterborough area with no two days the same.
This practice has good footfall with a strong customer base made up of mainly NHS patients. They are a family values driven group with a patient focused team who have the same ethos to deliver the highest levels of customer care possible.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

The role will entail testing to 20 minutes and conducting contact lens fittings. You will also be required to do effective handovers with recommendations to the support team. You will also be involved in the planning for the future alongside the qualified practice manager.

Requirements of the Optometrist

Be in possession of a valid GOC registration and PCT certificate. Be comfortable testing to 20 minutes and happy to do contact lens fittings. You would be open to playing a part in the overall planning process for the practice looking at increasing diary bookings and eye tests and patronage. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

For this role my client is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 basic and a strong overall package. You will also have the opportunity to complete your continuous learning.
