I am working with a very well established independent group who are looking for a clinically focused optometrist to joining their team. This company has an excellent reputation for the quality of care that they offer. This company uses he latest equipment and is a part of local shared care schemes. In this role, you will have time to spend with your patients to complete a thorough test 30 – 40 mins. You are not monitored by KPI’s but by your customer’s reaction to your service, happy customers – happy ownersResponsibilities of the Optometrist.
You role will be to cover three stores in a very small vicinity. You will conduct sight tests roughly 10 per day. You will also complete contact lens work and be involved with the various shared care plans that this company is a part of. You will be on hand to offer great advice before handing your patients over to the qualified dispensing opticians.Requirements of the Optometrist.
To apply for this position you need to be a fully qualified, GOC registered optometrist. You will be passionate about optics and focussed on the care that you deliver. You will want to further develop your skills and grow as a practitioner as the store grows. You will have excellent communication skills and a strong personal work ethic.Compensation for the Optometrist
On offer for your efforts is a basic salary of £45,000 – £50,000 + professional fees. You will be working great family friendly hours 0900 – 1730 Mon – Fri and 0900 – 1400 Sat. In total, you will work 4.5 days per week and be paid a full time salary.
