Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

As an Optical Assistant for this practice, you will be mainly managing the reception, dispensing, contact lens teaching as well as meeting the patients’ needs precisely and competently. You will work within a busy practice with a varied demographic in an all-around role.
Requirements for the Optical Assistant

To secure this role, you will need to have past Optical experience and able to dispense to all levels and have a passion for providing excellent customer care. You’ve already demonstrated that you’re a natural when it comes to customer care, you’re articulate, good with people with an organised approach and always happy to help, so you’ll fit right in as a valuable member of the friendly store team, joining very well established Opticians.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer is a competitive salary of upto £17,500+ benefits. Standard 28 days holiday, increasing with each year of service (max 33 days). Working from 09.00 – 17.30 Mon – Fri 0900 – 1300 on Saturday NO Sundays. This is a 3 day position working a rota pattern and having 1/3 Saturdays off.
