Optometrist - Mansfield Role summaryDue to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and passionate Optometrist to join our talented team in Specsavers Mansfield.

 

The role:

Mansfield was established almost 30 years ago and since then has growth from strength to strength, now employing around 54 members of staff across 2 branches, 9 of which are qualified optometrists. The Mansfield store itself is a busy store with 8 test rooms, whilst the Nottingham Road store gives you the best of both worlds, with a slightly smaller environment of 4 tests rooms. There is an option to work across both stores to give you that bit more of a variety in the every day.

 

The store Directors are passionate about developing their employees, both clinically and professionally, and have been rewarded with Platinum Employer status in recognition of this. They have a fantastic Senior Optometrist who works closely with all the Optometrists to coach and develop in every aspect of the job, and clinical training, higher qualifications, and accreditations are encouraged and supported.

 

As an Optometrist you will make sure our patients get an expert eye examination, complete with clear information, sound advice and a friendly, professional approach. You’ll work to the highest clinical standards, ensure we comply with NHS guidelines (and our own procedures), and help to build a loyal community customer base.

 

As a professional, you’ll be an expert at putting people at ease and have the ability to talk customers through the eye examination process and explain their options in a clear, easy to understand way. What’s more, you’re organised and passionate about what you do – which means you keep accurate records and always have up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in your field.

 

To help you achieve this our practices are equipped with the latest equipment, including OCT, so that they you provide the very best clinical care. Our experienced wider team of DOs, CLOs, dedicated Clinic and Management Team mean that the Optometrists can focus on doing what they do best, and ensure that patient care is as high as it can be.
