Optical Assistant Position

A very well established independent practice are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant for a permanent 5 day position with family friendly hours.
This practice is well situated in a bustling South East London location and has a very long standing and loyal customer base. They have a split of private and NHS patients and a frame selection to match all budgets.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

This is a shop floor based position where you will be helping customer with frame and lens options, dispensing spectacles, conducting pre-tests and contact lens teaches. As this is a small independent practice you will be required to help in all areas of the practice to assist with the smooth running of the business.

Requirements for the Optical Assistant

They are looking for a friendly people person who is able to dispense and manage a reception. This is a long term opportunity and the successful candidate will be given every opportunity to progress into a management type of role in the future.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer is a competitive salary £20,000 – £23,000 and favourable working hours including short Saturday hours and No Sundays / bank holidays
