A fantastic opportunity has become available within one of the region’s most successful and well regarded independent practices. This opportunity is a full time permanent.

This very well established independent practice has an excellent local reputation for offering clinical excellence and an extensive range of lenses and frames. They have a very customer focused ethos and will always go the extra mile for their patients.

Due to an increase in business and some internal re-structuring a position has become available in the front of house team. The role is full time including a short Saturday and 4 days in the week.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will work within a busy practice in an all around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care . You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

The right candidate for this position will have strong admin and reception skills with an excellent telephone manner. You will ideally have optical experience and will be able to pre-screen patients and help with some dispensing if required. You will be customer focused and passionate about service and delivering the highest standards of professional care.

Compensation of the Optical Assistant
