Optometrist role in the Dorset area offering excellent salaries and flexible weekend working (1 Sat per month) either part time (2/3 days in one practice) or full time (between 2 practices 20 mile apart)

My client is an independent opticians with 3 practices in the Southern region. They have a fantastic reputation for clinical excellence, and customer service, and they now have a requirement for a part time or full time Optometrist to join their company in the Dorset area.

The ideal candidate will ideally be a an experienced optometrist looking for a new challenge, you will be involved with an ambitious team all thriving for excellence but also helping each other through their day to day roles. You will be an ambitious, driven individual, looking to forge a long term career.

This is a small store where you will be well supported by your team with all pre-testing done for you and experienced staff greeting, prepping, passing over into your capable hands

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Performing eyes tests to 25 minute appointments
Retinal imaging
Adhering to all GOC guidelines
Building excellent patient reports
Contact Lens Fittings

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered
Open to newly qualified or experienced
Open to part time or full time
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £55,000 is on offer along with a strong bonus scheme and additional benefits.

Also with this opportunity you can look to receive flexible weekend working – 1 Saturday per month, no Sundays or Bank Holiday
