Optometrist - Brixham Role summary

Due to a recent refit to accommodate our expanding business, we are now looking for a part time Optometrist to join our friendly team at our practice in Specsavers Brixham. The Area:

Brixham is a historic fishing town in the Torbay area of South Devon. This quaint town is located right on the beautiful coastline of the English Riviera. A jewel of the South West, it is host to many local events and festivals, making it the perfect location for families and those looking for a traditional lifestyle away from the city. It has good train links nearby and is less than 30 miles to major cities including Exeter and Plymouth.

The Practice:

Our practice recently underwent a refit meaning that we offer the chance to work in a bright, modern working environment with the latest optical technology. We have 2 test rooms on site, with an established, tight-knit team of 9 staff, so if you’re looking for the security and progression of Specsavers but prefer working in a smaller practice, our store offers the best of both. We love getting involved in Brixham’s local community events and often raise money for local charities. 

The Package:

Become part of the team within our practice and you can expect to achieve the following package:

• Competitive basic salary
• 5 weeks annual holiday entitlement (pro rata for part time)
• Part time position offering 2/3 days per week
• Relaxed 25 minute testing
