Domiciliary Optical Assistant - East London / Essex Role summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Optical Assistant in the East London and Essex area to join our expanding domiciliary care business - Specsavers Home Visits . On offer is not only an excellent remuneration package, which includes a car or car allowance and team bonus, but more importantly the chance to take the next step in your optical career.

This role will appeal to those who want to move away from the High Street – who want genuine professional freedom and above all a great changing working environment where you are rewarded and recognised for your daily contributions to the business. You will be working alongside within a fun and friendly team – no two days with us are the same and you could spend one day working in cosmopolitan London one day or be spending time in more rural areas of Essex another day.

As an experienced Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high quality professional service, with high standards of dispensing, and customer care – in short you’ll make sure every customer gets a great experience. You will be supporting an experienced Optometrist in this role.

Previous optical experience and a full UK driving license is essential for this position. This position is full time, working Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.30am - 5.30pm. An ideal location to be based in will be the Ilford - Barkingside area.

For more information or to apply, please contact Emily Spendiff at Specsavers Recruitment Services on 01566 771 894 or emily.spendiff@specsavers.com.

Specsavers Home Visits, now part of Specsavers, is one of the Country’s leading providers of home sight tests to individuals in their own homes, residential and nursing homes.
