This company are looking for a 3/4 day a week Optometrist on a permanent contract. The role will be to be a permanent 3 – 4 resident within a well established practice. NO SUNDAYS.
This role offers the stability of a permanent position and the perks and benefits that come with this. It also offer the freedom the locum on the side to supplement your earnings. This a fixed residency with a very customer focused company

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

This is a clinical, residency where your role will be to conduct a compressive sight test. You will also be carrying out contact lens fittings and aftercares. You will be well supported within the practice by a qualified dispensing optician / practice manager and an experienced dispensing team. As a clinical expert within the practice you will have some input into staff training and will work with the manager to ensure that staff are operating at the highest levels.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is fully registered with the GOC and local PCT. You will be hard working and dedicated with a passion for customer service. You will be able to test at 20 minutes with all pre-tests done for you. You will have strong personal communication skills and you will be looking for a bigger role where you will be involved in the training and development of the team
