Optical Assistant PositionA very exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and focused Optical Assistant for a full time, permanent role in Worcester.
I am currently recruiting for the optician of choice in the local community for an optical assistant who is dedicated to the whole team ethos when it comes to customer service.
This practice is situated in a busy shopping centre and has strong footfall with a loyal customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a very friendly and patient focused team in place who enjoy social events on a regular basis and work together to ensure the customer journey is achieved
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Optical AssistantAt least 1 years of experience as an optical assistant ideally within a busy practice although all backgrounds will be considered. The ability to dispense to all levels with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Optical AssistantFor your commitment they are offering a competitive salary of up to £16,000 basic + bonus of £1,000 and additional benefits including continuous training courses leading to the dispensing course for the right person.
