Optometrist

My client is one of the most successful directors in the UK and has just opened a new practice in the area with all the latest technology including OCT and is fast becoming a practice of choice with a strong diary and reputation.
They now require an optometrist who wants to be part of something special as well as grow with the business.

Optometrist Position

This is a full time opportunity with a market leading opticians in a prime location in the Worcester area.
This practice is situated in a prime location within the local community. They require an optometrist who has experience of working in a busy practice and team environment and can deliver on conversions and clinical excellence. The role required a 20-25 minute tester and comfortable doing contact lens work. There is also the opportunity to do pre-reg supervision.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

The role will be delivering eye tests to a high standard with some contact lens work undertaken. You will be expected to make recommendations to patients and complete professional and accurate handovers to the support team.

Requirements of the Optometrist

You will be GOC registered and full CET accredited and happy to test to 20-25 minutes and have sound clinical skills and strong commercial awareness.
They are open to any levels of experience as it is more about your commercial awareness and clinical skills. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

My client is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000 package with additional benefits such as 33 day holidays including bank holiday and GOC and college fees paid. You will also have the opportunity for ongoing personal development.
