A new position has arisen for a full-time or part-time Optometrist at the Specsavers Fort Kinnaird store, situated on the fringes of Edinburgh City.
Recently established, Fort Kinnaird celebrated its 3rd Birthday in June 2018 and in a short space of time has developed a loyal customer base that would leave you to believe the store had been around for decades. This is testimony to the friendly and approachable staff who work within the store who have created such a wonderful atmosphere for its local customer base.
Specsavers Fort Kinnaird is a busy store that currently operates with 6 optometrists out of 5 test rooms. Due to increased business, a further opportunity has arisen for an optometrist to join the current team.
As with all our Specsavers stores, Fort Kinnaird is forthcoming towards development opportunities both clinical and personal. Clinically Specsavers are currently rolling out OCT to all the stores. 75% of our Optometrists are Glaucoma stage 1/2 accredited and we also have a huge development drive on EOS and MEC's pre-& post -cataract & Glaucoma monitoring as well as supporting IP.
On top of this the position comes with a generous salary that we can openly discuss as part of the application process. We also offer a competitive benefits package which includes the following:
- Dental cover
- Private Healthcare
- Optom bonus scheme
- Professional fees paid
- CET training
- Personal development plan / courses ambitions to include IP and ILM
- Pension contribution
- Opportunity to work 4 long days
- And much more!
