YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified optometrist to join a very well run well appointed independent chain.
They are now looking to add an experienced optometrist to their longstanding clinical team. This is a full time permanent role with good working hours – NO SUNDAYS OR BANK HOLS.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist
You primary function within this position will be to conduct sight tests within 20 -25 appointments with all pre-screening done.
You will also be required to undertake contact lens fittings and aftercare appointments.
You will offer expert advice and come up with recommendations to help your patients.
Patient care will always be a paramount importance but you will also understand the commercial aspect of the position.
Requirements of the Optometrist

The ideal candidate for this position will be hard working with a “can do” attitude and willingness to continue to develop as an optometrist. You will be willing to help in other areas of the practice as required and will be very much a team player.

Compensation Of The Optometrist
This is a very exciting opportunity within a very well run group. This role will be based in a local store but will require you to travel between 2-3 stores in the area (travel expenses are paid).
On offer is a very competitive salary up to £50,000 as well as a brilliant bonus scheme and benefits – GOC fees paid and the opportunity to work within this relaxed modern practice.
Working 9-5:30 Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week – No Sundays or Bank Holidays
