A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Contact Lens Optician on a full time, permanent basis. I am recruiting currently for a franchise of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands.
This practice is situated on a busy high street and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.

You will be working in a busy store surrounded by a very supportive and close-knit team of 50+ strong who are willing to help and aid you in the right direction, as they are big on team building and work to provide an excellent customer experience.

You will be joining a large team, in a professional yet clinical environment.
This opportunity will be working 39 hours which can be compressed over 4 days or spread across the standard 5 day working.
FLEXIBILITY ON WEEKEND WORKING – my client has said would be able to offer alternate weekends which would involve working one week Saturday + Sunday then having the following weekend off.

Responsibilities of the Contact Lens Optician

 

The role will entail contact lens fittings, taking care of your patents and managing your clinics effectively as well as occasional dispensing spectacles to all levels, you have the choice to take on a split role between Contact Lens work and Dispensing OR focus entirely on Contact Lenses and having 5 day clinics.
You may also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options.

Requirements of the Contact Lens Optician

As a Contact Lens Optician within this practice you will have full contact lens clinics and be able to manage your fitting times effectively while providing excellent care. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores clinical team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
