Job Details

We are looking to recruit a National Equipment Sales Manager for a leading ophthalmic supply company. The main purpose for the role will be to lead, develop and execute the commercial strategies for their optical equipment for retail optical practices and eye care professionals. This will be a national role so travel will be required.

The commercial strategy will be based on the delivery of revenue targets which will be achieved through effective management of product launches and working closely with the account managers to help 'sell in'. The role will include all provision, maintenance, installation and training within each practice. You will need to be able to provide expertise to the business to help foster new opportunities and advance all objectives.

This role will suit someone with current experience within sales of optical equipment to opticians, you will need to have a technical mind but also be able to deliver results and have strong communication skills to convey your ideas and solutions to the UK Sales team and customers alike.

We are looking for candidates with a degree (or optical equivalent FBDO etc) who have a track record of success in technical sales and taking a lead on the provision of optical equipment from sales through to maintenance.

You will be offered a salary up to 40k with an advanced bonus scheme of up to 35k plus an industry leading bonus package. For more information contact Steve at Zest Optical.
