Specsavers Portadown are now looking for an experienced optical lab technician to join the team on either a full or part time basis in this busy store!

 

You will be must be able to work effectively in a small team whilst confident to use your own initiative in order to get the job done.

 

Job Description -

 

As a Laboratory Technician in Portadown, you’ll be preparing customer prescriptions to the highest standards and using the latest computer-controlled equipment. It’s all about providing an excellent single vision glazing service that helps the store to maximise sales and profitability. One day you could be repairing spectacles, the next, you could be glazing and tinting single vision lenses. The important thing is that you’ll be learning all the time – building on your knowledge with the help of your expert colleagues.

 

An eye for detail is a must. You should also be good with people and able to work as part of a team. You’ll be friendly and organised too, presenting a professional image to customers at all times. Above all, you’ll have previous experience as a Lab Technician in an optical setting, and be ready to learn more.
