Come join a high end clinical independent devoted to patient focus, customer service and care.
Opening Hours:
Mondays and Tuesdays – 9:00-6:00
Wednesdays and Fridays – 8:30 – 5:30
Thursdays – 9:00-7:00
Saturdays – 9:00-1:30
Closed Sundays and all Bank Holidays
Salary:
£22-38k basic (depending on experience and if GOC registered), Bonus, fees paid, free parking, discounts
Ideally the candidate will be GOC registered, been in optics for 5 years+ and have previous optical managerial experience
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
” You will be responsible for day to day running of the practice, managing clinics efficiently and dealing with each and every patient to the best of your ability
” Managing a small team consisting of experienced qualified and unqualified support staff
” Dispensing a wide range of frames/ lenses, frame selection and adjustments
” You will be working between two practices approximately 15-minutes apart from each other
” Managing and ordering stock as this independent deals with a huge range of products
” This opticians is in the process of buying a new practice and need someone to help grow this and their other optical business
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager
It is essential that you have previous Managerial experience and are a proactive manager with new ideas, can implement them and have great people skills
You’ll be an expert team leader that ensures your team feel enthused and free to make suggestions. Essentially you will have strong leadership skills but equally approachable and supportive. On top of this, you’ll need strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of KPIs, managing goals and an organised approach.
