This would be a fantastic opportunity for an optometrist within the first couple of years of qualification. This practice is directed by a very clinically focused optometrist who offers extensive personal development opportunities.

Optometrist Position

This is a permanent 3-5 day position including 1 weekend day each week. You will be working within a busy multi-clinic practice. This store is a part of one of the UK’s largest and most successful optical companies. You will be well supported by not only an excellent ownership and management team but also by a professional and hard working dispensing team.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

As an optometrist your role will be to conduct a comprehensive sight examination in a professional and timely fashion. You will complete contact lens clinics and aftercares with follow ups and all associated administration. You will offer your expert advice to patients and make recommendations on a case by case basis. You will continue to develop your personal clinical and leadership skills and really help this already successful practice to continue to grow.

Requirements of the Optometrist.

To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is registered with the GOC and the local PCT. You will be a hard working individual who is looking for the opportunity to continue to develop as a clinician within a very clinical and customer focused practice. You will be friendly and professional with strong time management skills and a keen eye for detail.

Compensation for the Optometrist

On offer for your efforts is a competitive salary of around £35,000 + Professional fees + Health / Dental care + performance based bonuses. This company operates an excellent system where you receive a basic pay increase for every additional professional accreditation to complete.
