Contact Lens Optician

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Contact Lens Optician in a slightly different role
You will be mobile between 2 practices in the area and as well as having Contact Lens Clinics to manage, this role is also to develop and grow the contact lens side of the business.
Because of the type of role I am looking for an experienced Contact Lens Optician ideally with management experience.
Each practice is situated on a busy high street and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.
You will be working between the 2 big and busy stores alongside a large team, due to the type of the role you will also be liasing with the director on a regular basis to discuss how the contact lens side of the business is doing.
Responsibilities of the Contact Lens Optician
The role will entail contact lens fittings (20 mins), taking care of your patents and managing your clinics effectively as well as occasional dispensing spectacles to all levels.
You will also be developing the contact lens side of the business helping to improve the number of contact lens appointments, increase direct debits and grow this side of the business.
Requirements of the Contact Lens Optician
Need to be fully qualified as a Contact Lens Optician and have experience within a busy practice.
Must be fully aware of the contact lens side of the business, comfortable managing clinics and ideally have experience in management.
You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting.
As a member of the stores clinical team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
Compensation for the Contact Lens Optician
