Responsibilities of the Optometrist / Manager
To manage the day to day operations of a busy optical unit. You will lead and motivate your team ensure that all daily tasks are completed and all clinics run smoothly. You will still be conducting sight tests, part time split throughout the week
Continued colleague training is very important to this company so you will hold training sessions and instruct your team of all industry and company requirements. You will manage targets and look after the PnL for the practice keeping a close eye on your budgets.
Requirements of the Optometrist Manager
You will first and foremost be a fully qualified optometrist who is registered with GOC and with all CET requirements up to date. You will have some management / supervisory experience and you will understand how to use KPI’s to monitor performance and identify further training opportunities. On top of this you will be a confident and enthusiastic individual who is focused on delivering very high levels of customer care.
Compensation for the Optometrist / Manager
Very competitive basic salary of £53,000 – £58,000
