My client is one of the most recognised and highly respected optical groups in the UK and as such has an enviable reputation for delivering the quality specialist treatment and customer care and need someone who can maintain the very high standards already set.Responsibilities of the Optometrist
They are operating a 25 minute testing policy and you will be expected to do 15-18 per day with occasional contact lens work alongside a strong experienced support team doing pre-tests and a qualified hearing dispenser.Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position you must be a fully qualified, GOC registered optometrist who is up to date with all CET requirements.
Open to a full or part time role and used to working in a non-computerised record keeping practice.
You will ideally have at least 1 years of post qualification experience although for the right person they could consider someone newly qualified. As well as this you will have a friendly professional disposition, be well presented and have an excellent chair side manner.
It would be an advantage for applicants to have experience of diabetic screening but not essential as full training is on offer.
They have a long serving and dedicated support team across the business and the client base is a mix of NHS and private.
The opening hours range from 9.00 – 5.30, Monday to Saturday dependent on the working days you are available to work.
They are offering a very competitive salary of up to £50,000 (pro-rata) and the flexibility of working patterns to suit your needs.
