Optical Assistant

My client is an award winning optical group offering a high level of customer service based on the needs of the client. Due to expansion of services, they now require an Optical Assistant to join them in 1 of their 8 practices just outside in Essex delivering top class dispensing to a discerning clientele.

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS OPTICAL EXPERIENCE!

Optical Assistant Position

The practice is situated in good location with a well maintained strong client base with a mix of private and NHS. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who work together to deliver the highest levels of care possible and they have a very good local reputation for excellence in customer care.
This role is working full time 37.5 hours on a 2 week rota.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

You will be passionate about customer service and have a keen interest in fashion and eyewear.
The ability to dispense to all levels is essential along with a friendly and personable demeanour.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
My client is looking for applicants with at least 1 year of experience as an Optical Assistant ideally within a similar environment with customer care a major part of why they have been recognised as the place to go for eye care.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant
