My client is a well respected and very well established independent optician on the East coast now seeking to employ a resident optometrist on a part time basis.
This is a multi clinic optician with over 30 years servicing the residents in the local community and a strong client base is now looking to strengthen their testing team.
This is a 2 day position working in a high-end practice which offers the very latest products and they pride themselves on delivering the very best in eye care to the highest of standards, with exemplary customer service.
Optometrist PositionThey offer a comprehensive 30 minutes sight test using the latest modern equipment like OCT and Keratonometer all in a bright air conditioned room.
Responsibilities of the OptometristIn this role, you will provide excellence in clinical care to your patients and work as part of a small team. You will be responsible for providing eye tests, contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge. To conduct a thorough sight tests offering your expert opinion and making recommendations. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team.
Requirements of the OptometristTo apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will be hard working and clinically minded who is passionate about customer service and patient care. . You will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge and expertise in your specialist field.
