An opening has become available in a high end independent for an optical assistant on a full time permanent basis. On offer is an excellent salary package of up to £18,000 and the opportunity to work within a luxury opticians in a very affluent area of North London

Situated on a busy high street within an affluent North London area with excellent transport links to the Centre of the city. This company has a diverse customer base making each day a new and exciting challenge.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will be to work on the shop floor assisting the primary dispensers. You will meet and greet patients coming in and help to create a warm and welcoming environment. You will be frame styling and making sales and ensuring each patient leaves the store having had a memorable experience. You will be dispensing yourself and you will help with the admin and receptions duties

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

You must possess excellent communication skills and warm and friendly personality and a real passion for customer service. You will have optical experience and will have the ability to dispense to all levels.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer to the right person is a generous basic salary of up to £19,000 and some excellent in-house training.
