A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Optical Assistant to join a brand new practice in St Albans. They have an experienced Optical Manager and an Optometrist in place and they are looking to add a personable and enthusiastic optical assistant to their team. As a brand new business you will spend your first couple of weeks in training before working in branch.Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on their options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice. Their aim is to continually improve the quality of services offered to their customers through staff training.Requirements of the Optical Assistant
My client is looking for applicants with previous optical experience and the ability to dispense glasses to all levels.
