YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.
My client has a very good reputation to uphold having successfully created 12 current optical business owners. They boast the latest equipment with OCT on its way in 2019 and a very friendly and close-knit team in place makes them the optician of choice in the area.
They now require an optometrist who wants to be part of something special as well as with the growth of the store.Optometrist Position
This is a full time opportunity, (although they can consider part time), with a market leading opticians in a prime location in the Middlesex / Surrey area.
The ideal optometrist would be someone who has experience of working in a busy practice and team environment and can deliver on conversions and clinical excellence. The role required a 20 – 25 minute tester and comfortable doing contact lens work. There is also the opportunity to do pre-reg supervision if that is what you want.Responsibilities of the Optometrist
The role will be delivering eye tests to a high standard with some contact lens work undertaken. You will make recommendations to patients and complete professional and accurate handovers to the support team to deliver on their side.Requirements of the Optometrist
You will be GOC registered and full CET accredited and happy to test to 20 – 25 minutes and have sound clinical skills and strong commercial awareness.
They are open to any levels of experience as it is more about your commercial awareness and clinical skills. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
My client is offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000 package with additional benefits such as a generous bonus scheme, 33-day holidays including bank holiday and GOC and college fees paid. You will also have the opportunity for ongoing personal development.
