YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.

My client is looking for a flexible optometrist to work between two practices in completely different settings. One is in a village setting and the other more NHS driven. This is a unique opportunity with a friendly working pattern.

Optometrist Position

This role is to work 09 – 5.30, Monday and Tuesday in an NHS setting and 09 – 5.30, Wednesday in practice and 09-5.30 on alternate Friday is in practice.

This role is open to the newly qualified and the more experienced optometrists.

You will be team orientated as joining a well-established and highly trained group of people who all work together to deliver the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

In this role, you will provide excellence in clinical care to your patients and working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing eye tests, contact lens fitting, aftercare advice, maintaining accurate patient records and keeping up to date with product and professional knowledge. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You will be hard working and passionate about customer service and patient care. You will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge and expertise.

Salary on offer is £32,760 to start with money towards GOC membership cost and 25 days holidays, plus bank holidays, (for those worked).
