New role for and experienced Optical Assistant offering a competitive salary, progression and a great working environment.

Salary – up to £17k + bonus
Hours – 9:00-5:30, no Sundays or Bank Holidays

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a franchise of this leading UK multiple, who are looking to add an Optical Assistant to their successful practice in Farnham.

The ideal candidate will be an Optical Assistant with minimum 12 months experience preferably with a fast paced opticians.
You will need to be a strong team player, a real ‘people person’ and pride yourself in your punctuality and professionalism.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

At least 1 year of experience as an Optical Assistant ideally within a busy practice.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

Basic salary is dependent upon experience and personality but can be up to £17k also including a very rewarding bonus scheme benefits and endless progression opportunities.

Working Monday – Saturday with a day off in the week – 9:00-5:30
