Is this role for you?

Ilford’s Optometrist team is a community driven practice with trained support staff members in place to pre-screen and assist on advising on the best recommended options for their patients. This leaves you able to focus on conducting a fully comprehensive eye examination providing clinical care, offering your expertise advice and support.

 

The Area

Ilford is is home to a diverse mix of the local community and is very multicultural.

 

It is an established town with a variety of shops and places to eat; the famous Kenneth Moore Theatre and of course the Ilford Cricket Club in Valentines Park. It is part of both Newham & Redbridge Borough based in Zone 4 of London.  

 

The store is only 3 minutes’ walk from Ilford Railway train Station on the Great Eastern Main Line. It will soon be home to Crossrail; there are plenty buses serving the area; free car parking on Sundays is always good to know.

The Practice

Our Ilford team employ 40 staff and there are 5 clinics a day in the week and 4 on Sunday.

In the Optometry team alone, there are 32 years of combined experience.

 

Ilford’s patient demographic is very diverse and multicultural so you will have plenty of opportunity to be exposed to various types of pathology.

 

The store have good equipment and good news is that an OCT will be installed later this year.

 

The partners will always be on hand with any support clinically and commercially.

 

There are flexible working patterns available therefore both full and part-time available options.
