We are keen to talk to Optometrists who have either already achieved WOPEC accreditations or someone who is keen to get accredited. This qualification will enable you to partake in the store’s Enhanced Optical Services schemes such as IOP refinement, pre and post cataract assessment, OHT monitoring, children’s vision screening and Minor Eye Conditions (MECS).
As the stores EOS Specialist Optometrist, you will lead the delivery of these services, head up the implementation of new schemes as they become available and manage training colleagues in all matters relating to EOS.
We’re looking for someone who fits into our store culture who is friendly and approachable, a good communicator and a team player.
Established in 1999, Specsavers Darlington has grown from strength to strength and now employs over 40 staff members, including five Optometrists, and operates out of six test rooms. This is an exciting year for the store as it will be undergoing a complete refurbishment that giving a fresh and modern look, OCT technology, and two new test rooms.
