An exciting opportunity to join a well established independent practice for a full time Optometrist to work across 3-4 practices in the area has just come in.
Optometrist Position
You will be joining a well established optical business with stores all across the region. This company has a big reputation to uphold and as such require an optometrist who can live up to their very high standards. It is a Monday to Saturday role with a day off in the week and no Sundays and half day on Saturdays.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Your role will be to complete a comprehensive professional sight test within 25-30 minute slots. You will be working in some well equipped test rooms and you will also be completing contact lens clinics. As with any quality independent practice the optometrist position is not strictly bound to the test room and you will be required to come onto the shop floor to answer questions or offer your expert advice.
Requirements of the Optometrist
To apply for this position you need to be a fully registered, qualified optometrist who is up to date with all CET requirements. You will be a hard working person who is looking for a long term opportunity within a quality company. You will be patient focused and passionate about what you do and ultimately dedicated to delivering fantastic care to the communities that you serve.
You will need to be flexible in working across 3-4 practices all within local proximity to each other.
Compensation for the Optometrist
My client is offering a good salary package of up to £43,000 basic with a bonus scheme in place and 33 days holidays including bank holidays, (additional holidays to be accrued over a 5 year employment period), + additional benefits.
