Inspired Selections are looking for a Optometrist Manager to be much more than a Optician, you’ll also manage, motivate and lead your team, ensuring our customers get the right advice, products and accessories to meet their needs. Your role will be split between testing and managing a small team, you’ll ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to do a truly great job. Leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most – delivering the highest standards of professionalism.

This is a full time opportunity with a fast growing optical group situated in a busy location.
This practice is a new upcming store currunetly in production which is looking to open up Nov/Dec 2016 situated in a new site over towards Barnstaple. They are a family values driven group with a patient focused team who have the same ethos to deliver the highest levels of customer care possible.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

” Testing to 20 minute appointments
” Managing a team
” Undertake contact lens fittings and aftercare appointments.
” Offer expert advice and come up with recommendations to help your patients
” Being a leader on the shop floor
” Provide an excellent customer experience

Requirements of the Optometrist

” GOC registered
” Excellent communication skills
” At least 1 years of management experience – looking after KPI’s, training, day to day running of a practice

Compensation for the Optometrist

For this full time role my client is offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000 basic and a strong bonus scheme and very good overall package. You will also have the opportunity to complete your continuous learning.
