YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.
My client is a part of a very highly recognised optical group with high standards and a strong presence in the local community.
They have a strong presence in the local community with a very good reputation for quality and customer service.
They are now looking to take on a team player to work alongside the group of driven professionals with flexibility on working on a rota basis across the week.
The test rooms are all air conditioned and comfortable work spaces.
They have a comfortable 20-25 minute testing time and have an experienced support team who will take care of all the pre-testing for you.
The practice is fitted out with all the latest equipment coupled with it being a very comfortable environment to be in for both the client and the team.
They are the major opticians in the area and servicing both private and NHS clients and offering a good range of lenses and frames to suit all budgets. They now require a GOC registered optometrist to test to 20-25 minutes and comfortable occasionally doing contact lens work.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
The role will be delivering eye tests to a high standard with some contact lens work undertaken. You will be expected to make recommendations to patients who will then be passed on to the support team in your handover.
There is some weekend working on a rota basis but they can discuss flexibility.
Requirements of the Optometrist

A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Optometrist
For your skills and input my client is offering a competitive salary package with a basic of up to £50,000 and a good bonus scheme in place to further enhance your earnings potential as well as 28 days holidays inclusive of bank holidays and professional fees paid.
