YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS OPTICS EXPERIENCE TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

My client is the optician of choice in the area and is now looking for an experienced optical assistant.
They can boast in having the latest technology and high end products on offer to a discerning clientele who expect only the best.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will have excellent communication skills and phone manner as well as being well presented and conscientious.
You will be able to effectively manage the daily diary and be organised and meticulous in your administrative skills.

Requirements for the Optical Assistant

First and foremost you will be computer literate and used to working with all the latest software as well as having good levels of hand writing.
Although the majority of your day will be on the reception area you will also need to be flexible to undertake some basic dispensing like frame selection and explaining lens types and specific requirements relating to their prescriptions

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £15,500 to start with the opportunity to gain training on dispensing and other skills within an opticians.
