Optometrist Position

A fantastic opportunity has become available within a very well established, high end independent company for a full time permanent optometrist.

This company has been established for over 80 years in one form or another and has built up a reputation of excellence not only within the local community but the wider industry. This company are run by Specialist Optometrists which have a strong clinical focus and therefore they are able to provide services not commonly found at other opticians.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Focus is on delivering the best possible service to the patients coming through the door, which means a full competent sight test strong hand over and final delivery of an excellent product. It also means that every member of the teams works for each other with optometrist helping to dispense when needed and the owner of the company answering the telephone and working the reception. This is a very strong team and the right person will have a confident and friendly demeanour and relish the opportunity to work in a practice like this.

Requirement of the Optometrist

They are looking for an experienced optometrist who is a strong all-rounder and who is willing and able to help out in all areas of the business where required. The right person will ideally have experience of working within a high end independent environment and will be used to working within a close knit team. The right candidate will be able to test at 40 minutes and will be happy undertaking contact lens work as well. You will also be computer literate as this practice is very modern and is completely paperless.

Compensation for the Optometrist

On offer to the right person is a competitive salary package £50,000 – £55,000 as well as a number of other benefits for the right person
