Domiciliary Optometrist - Hampshire Area Role summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Optometrist in the Hampshire area to join our expanding domicilliary care business – Specsavers Home Visits. This offers you a great chance to join a thriving optical market. Home Visits Optical Services, now part of Specsavers, is one of the Country’s leading providers of home sight tests to individuals in their own homes, residential and nursing homes.

About the role:
This role will appeal to those who want to move away from the High Street – who want genuine professional freedom and above all a great changing working environment where you are rewarded and recognised for your daily contributions to the business. You will be driven around the sunny South Coast by a supportive Optical Assistant you will be working alongside within a fun and friendly team – no two days with us are the same and you could spend one day working in the cosmopolitan area of Brighton one day or be spending time in more rural areas of outstanding natural beauty the next.

If you are looking for a change of environment from the high street and want more diversity and freedom in your working day then this role could be perfect for you. It will allow you the opportunity to put your skills to the test and make a real difference to the quality of a person’s life and help and support a local community. With only 7-12 tests per day, you can be sure that you will have the time you need to give your patient the best experience.

About you:

You will be a GOC registered qualified Optometrist passionate about customer care and going to extra mile. You’ll be clinically focussed and be looking for a position that offers you the chance to build a fantastic 1-1 relationship with the patient, giving them the best service possible.

What we can offer:

In return for your professional expertise, we want to build a bespoke package that suits you and your lifestyle. This may include:

  • Salary package of £65,000 - £75,000 dependent on experience
  • Full expensed company car and fuel allowance paid
  • Full time and part time opportunities considered
  • Work / life balance: Monday - Friday working
  • Additional clinical training or directorship opportunities routes through Specsavers exclusive Joint Venture Partner Pathway
  • Additional benefits – just ask!
