Is this role for you?

Dalston’s Optometrist team is based in a very community driven practice with trained support staff members in place to pre-screen and assist on advising on the best recommended options for their patients. This leaves you able to focus on conducting a fully comprehensive eye examination providing clinical care, using the very latest, cutting-edge technology and equipment.

 

The Area

Dalston is home to a diverse mix of the local community; creatives; City types and of course, is very popular with young adults who flock to the area for the nightlife; eateries, market and arty things to do. It has affectionately described by local press as being “the unlikely owner of Britain’s coolest postcode.”

 

Often described as “busy & buzzy”, however, for those quiet moments, there is the peaceful community garden right in the heart of Dalston providing a lovely contrast to the bustle, perfect for a picnic or packed lunch.

 

Well connected, there are plenty of bus routes taking you to Dalston. Dalston is in zone 2 and Dalston Junction station is only 4 stops away from Shoreditch High Street on the East London line; 4 stops away from Highbury & Islington to both Dalston Kingsland & Dalston Junction.

The Practice

The store is only 3 minutes’ walk from Dalston Kingsland Station.

The clinic has 5 test rooms and 35 staff who use state of the art optical equipment, including fundus photography and the wave front eye-refract.

 

The patient demographic is very diverse so you will have plenty of opportunity to be exposed to various types of pathology.

 

This is a store proud to have trained many Optometrists who have gone on to have their own stores. You will certainly have full support on your individual clinical progression, coupled with full support if you want to develop commercially also.

 

The Dalston store partners, Rupesh and Jayesh have developed a very impressive optical business that is very popular with the people of Dalston.
